THE CHARMING CREW

OUR STORY

Charm City Love was founded July 2014 by Erin Phillips. Her mission was to bring young adults together and use their unique skills to give back to the community. Every member of Charm City Love is passionate about giving the community a voice. We participate and organize initiatives to give back to the community. Our initiatives are well documented through video and highlighted on our social media handles. Our goal is to continue to learn more about the hardships facing our communities and encourage change by shedding light on these issues.

OUR MISSION

Charm City Love, Inc. is an organization comprised of young adults dedicated to using multiple platforms to provide assistance and share the stories of individuals or groups in the community whose voices are unheard.

OUR CREW

Erin Phillips

Founder of Charm City Love

With a passion for media, Erin Phillips graduated from Hampton University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Journalism and Communications with a focus in Public Relations. As she began to matriculate through her career, she became passionate about Cybersecurity. Having the opportunity to combine two interests, she landed a position in Governance and Cybersecurity Communications at Legg Mason, Inc. located in Downtown Baltimore.

Being a proud member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., Erin has a passion for building unbreakable bonds while serving the community. In her spare time, she loves to spend time with family and friends, and attend concerts and sporting events.

With a passion for serving the under-served, Erin started the quest to begin  Charm City Love, Inc. with a group of friends in 2014. With the thought of putting a modern twist on community service, she knew that it was important to serve the community while assisting those in less fortunate situations. From this experience, their voices are heard and their unique stories are told.  Erin’s favorite quote is, “Let us not be satisfied with just giving money. Money is not enough, money can be got, but they need your hearts to love them. So, spread your love everywhere you go.” (Mother Teresa)
